Within the last week there have been several burglaries of homes on Braddock Street between the 700 and 900 block area. There have been some reports of burglaries on Adalee as well. In several cases, the thieves go to the front door and knock. If someone answers, they ask if there is any yard work they can do. If nobody answers, they go to the back of the house and break in, usually through a window.
If anyone sees suspicious activity in the neighborhood they can call this number and they will dispatch someone immediately: Suspicious Activity Number 231-6130. You can also request a Police Vacation Watch by calling 242-3800.
